In September 1991 we cycled through the Canadian Rocky Mountains. From Calgary we went to Banff and along the famous Icefields Parkway to Lake Louise and Jasper. Finally we spent some days in Kananaskis Provincial Park. It was the first time we that we had to deal with bear warnings. Extra nerve wracking because we spent some nights all alone on campsites because of strikes: all cars were sent away by the strikers, leaving only us at the campsite made for hundreds of campers.
